Evening arrives and June bugs hum
the plowmen to the dark succumb
and girls sing on their ways homeward
While mothers wait, their families come.

Rhubarb Crisp
4 cups rhubarb chopped into 1/2 inch pieces
1 extra large egg beaten
1 cup sugar
1 cup flour
1 TSP baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup melted butter
1 TBS soft butter to grease the pan
Prep time: 10 minutes
Total time: 30 minutes
