On this week’s show Leslie Land discusses stew that’s too hot (spicy that is) and deer repellent that in our opinion is too stinky, Alex Tuller makes crunchy pasta – yes we meant to type crunchy – Dean Temple and William Blake marvel at the luck of angels, we have a clip of the week, and we have things to do in the Hudson Valley from Ilana Papele.

This week’s clip gives you an idea of what to expect from the upcoming January 22 performance of the American String Quartet at 4:00 at the Church of the Messiah in Rhinebeck. The concert is brought to you by the Rhinebeck Chamber Music Society, and you can learn more by clicking here. Please note that the performance this weekend is an all Brahms program. Our clip, on the other hand, is the American String Quartet playing the presto movement of a Mozart divertimento.
