November 17, 2005 Podcast launched

Today’s show is a double header. That means we have things to do from Ilana through December 1, because we are giving the team Thanksgiving off. Virtual Hudson Valley wishes everyone an excellent holiday.

On today’s show we have Leslie Land’s last weekly garden report of the season. Don’t worry she will be with us all winter, just talking about things other than working in the garden (which we hope will be buried in snow soon). We have Cari Swanson on riding your horse like a dancer, Alex Tuller bakes an orange and cranberry bread (recipe listed in a separate entry below), Dean Temple reads excerpts from that brilliant 18th Century comedian and social commentator Ben Franklin, and we have Ilana Papele’s Hudson Valley to do list (with a little seasoning from the Dutchess County Arts Council).
